I'm a 27-years old 6-th year medical student living, working and, guess what- studying at the Medical Faculty of Leyden University, the Netherlands.
I'm a native Russian but for the last 7 years I've been living abroad. So now I speak Russian, English and Dutch every one of them with an accent.
Since '97 I live together with my lovely girl friend, her name is Joelle, she's graduated from the Faculty of Law, Leyden University.
I've
been a student for a couple of years now, to be exactly- 3 years in Russia
and in the Netherlands I had to start all over again, all together 9 years.
On the 7-th of June 1999 I'll graduate.
Can I say I'm
really ready now? I don't know, and may be it's natural.
We've been studying from books for
the first 4 years, going to classes and not being really happy
about the stuff we were studying (at least I wasn't). Then
we had two practical years of working in the hospital and trying to learn
very hard how to do things from doctors who did not have enough time (but
still tried hard to assist).
From where I stand
it would be really wise to change a couple of things.
- what do you think is really difficult
about being a doctor?
- what do you do about "annoying
patient"?
- are we "understanding"
enough to our patients?
- are we ever ready?

I think we all ought to be happy there are people who do politics. And we should pay them well. After all that's not such a nice job. If we don't pay them well enough someone else will and then we loose much more. And when we pay enough we have no reason to feel sorry for a politician who went bad and been faired.
Exactly the same goes for police.
My computer: 100Mz Pentium, 32 Mb SRAM, 4 Mb Diamond Stealth, so I know it's not much but if you set it right it works fast. Trust me.
My other favorite beers: Palm,
Hoegaarden
